2016-2017 Science Groups
All of the groups include some additional activities within the club, such as depending on the grade level, workshops and field trips.
Grade 6 (April-May-June 2017)
Experiment Group: Discover a wide range of experiments that undercover the mysteries and wonders of science. Some of these experiments will even leave you wondering: Was that even possible? How did that happen? Can that really change state that quickly? Get ready to see Science in Action!
Grade 7 (January-February-March 2017)
Physical Chemistry Group: Discover Physical Chemistry through a wide range of experiments, projects and workshops looking at gases, pressure, heat flow, potential energy, thermodynamics, energy, reaction rates, chemical kinetics, properties and structures, crystals and experimental methods.
Grade 8 (October-November-December 2016) and (January-February-March 2017)
Biological/Medical Science and Space Exploration Group: Discover the fields of medicine, biology and space exploration through a wide range of authentic experiments, workshops, projects and field trips. Some topics include neuroscience, molecular biology, epidemiology, robotics, project moon and the Mars project.

Science Feature Films
If you enjoy lots of action packed fun and being part of a Science Fiction movie where mutations, adventure and discovery all happen simultaneously, come be part of our S for Science Cast in our next NMS Green Imaging S for Science Pictures Feature Film.
S for Science Director, Mr. Abbandonato
Welcome to the NMS Green Imaging S for Science Club website. I started the S for Science Club in October 2011 for all students interested in taking Science to the next level. I started the club with 25 students and I am very proud to say that we have had over 100 students enrolled in the club the past few years. Science is a fun and exciting subject that can have endless possibilities. What I love about Science is that it is full of great opportunities to grow, to think critically, to collaborate, to learn new ideas, to work as a team, to have fun and to experience unforgettable learning. Science Needs You!!!
